Cash Officer

Job Description / Responsibility :
  • Daily cash handling and cash management at the cash counter of the bank.
  • Receive and honor cheques after verification
  • Pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds.
  • Report any suspicious activity/transaction to Head Teller / supervisor.
  • Balance currency, coin and cheques in cash drawers at ends of day, and prepare cash proof sheet at the end of the day.
  • Providing other cash related services.
  • Recording all transactions promptly and accurately complying with Bank's procedures and prepare transaction report - related hard copies at the end of the day.
  • Providing services complying with Bank's operations and cash related policies.
  • Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor/Management of the Bank.

Educational Requirements : Minimum Graduation
Experience Requirements : At least 3 year(s)

Credit & Trade Finance Officer

Job Description / Responsibility :
  • CREDIT FUNCTIONS:
  • Supervise all activities relating to credit functions of the branch. Manage and enhance the existing credit portfolio of the branch.
  • Acquire new business in order to meet the pre-set financial, non-financial objectives of the branch.
  • Promoting and selling of financial products to the potential clients.
  • Monitoring & follow-up of credit portfolio and reporting the same to the Manager of the Branch.
  • Review classified loan(s) periodically; formulate and implement action plan / recovery strategy in align with Bank's policy.
  • Perform recovery activities of stuck up NPLs according to the guideline of competent authority of the Bank.
  • TRADE FINANCE:
  • Oversee day-to-day activities relating to Import, Export and Foreign Remittance related operations according to foreign exchange guidelines, different directives and rules.
  • Approve all the Foreign Exchange transactions as per the laid down process and guidelines.
  • Periodic visit the factories and office of the exporters to have an insight into their business and to ensure business being conducted by the client according to the prevailing laws of the country.
  • Supervision and monitoring of all jobs relating to foreign remittance (inward & outward).
  • Handle internal and external audits including regulatory audits pertaining to Foreign Exchange portfolio.
  • Ensures timely submission of periodical Head Office and Bangladesh Bank statements and returns.
